Accountant I

This full-time position provides accounting support for the Oregon Bach Festival. Requires the ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed, especially in mid-summer. Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree with CPA or PA certificate; OR Bachelor’s degree with 30 quarter (20 semester) hours of college-level Accounting; OR 30 quarter (20 semester) hours of Accounting courses and three years of Accounting experience.; advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite, and advanced database administration experience with exceptional data entry speed, accuracy, and attention to detail. Must be self-motivated with the ability to work in stressful conditions while maintaining composure and professionalism.

Education and Operations Coordinator (.75 average FTE)

Provides administrative support for OBF education programs, while assisting the Director of Education Programs in coordinating other general festival operations; assists the Director of Artistic Administration in coordinating housing, parking, schedules and other arrangements for the orchestras and choruses. Requires the ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed, especially in mid-summer. This position is half-time during most of the year and full-time April-July.

Must have at least three years of office experience which included two years at full performance level and experience generating documents; and lead work responsibility or coordination of office procedures; advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite, and advanced database administration experience; valid driver’s license and good driving record; strong analytical and creative abilities; excellent organizational skills; classical music knowledge preferred. $15.04 – $22.34 per hour; excellent benefits, including health and dental, employer-paid retirement, tuition benefits for employee or an eligible dependent, sick and vacation leave.
