The 2018 OBF Organ Institute will run from July 6-12.
Applications for 2018 are no longer being accepted.

The organ — a central instrument in the life and work of J.S. Bach — is now a part of Oregon Bach Festival’s expanded educational offerings. The OBF Organ Institute, directed by Grammy Award-winning organist Paul Jacobs, offers organists the opportunity to immerse themselves in the music of Bach and explore technique and interpretation through specialized seminars, master classes, and performance.

Oregon Bach Festival is grateful to The Reed Foundation for generously underwriting the organ programs of OBF including the Organ Institute and recitals. To ensure talented musicians have access to the six-day course of master classes and performances with renowned American organist Paul Jacobs, organists accepted to participate in the Institute will be able to attend tuition free and with no cost for housing.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to be a member of the 2018 class. For more information, email obforgan@uoregon.edu, or call 541-346-1320.
