Welcome to SFYCA!

SFYCA is a peak artistic experience for high school choral musicians under the direction of Dr. Anton Armstrong at the world-renowned Oregon Bach Festival. Spend two weeks performing exceptional choral literature and strengthening your passion for the choral arts through daily rehearsals, classes, and workshops.

The 2018 academy will run from July 1-10, 2018.

While in residence with the SFYCA, you will:

  • Immerse yourself in an extensive choral training program and rehearsal schedule led by internationally respected, expert faculty.
  • Perform exceptional choral literature as part of the season’s regular concert schedule.
  • Engage in community outreach events.
  • Prepare for your musical life after high school and gain perspective on the collegiate experience while you’re in residence on the University of Oregon Campus.
  • Distinguish yourself as an exceptional professional candidate on upcoming resumes and college applications.

This 10-day program is open by audition nationally and internationally. For more information, please call (541) 346-1320. Check out the SFYCA Facebook page!
