Applications are now being accepted for the fifth season of OBF’s Berwick Academy, scheduled for June 24 to July 9, 2019. The deadline for submissions is February 4 and are submitted through the link on the Academy’s audition page.
The 2019 Berwick Academy and its faculty will provide incredible opportunities for 25 advanced student and professional musicians focused on historically informed performance through classes, lessons, chamber music, and the Berwick Academy orchestra. Guest directors for next season include recorder virtuoso and conductor Matthias Maute and legendary director of the Dunedin Consort, John Butt.

Update 1/24/19: Due to a large number of applicants finding out about Berwick Academy late, the deadline has been extended to February 4. After that, the only applications accepted will be for instruments that have not filled all of its available slots.
