2024 Auditions
The process is simple:
- Fill out the audition intake form (for both recorded and live/onsite auditions) See below for Live Audition Dates
- Prepare the audition material as detailed on the Audition Requirements page.
(Note: You will also UPLOAD your recorded audition on the audition requirements page) - Record your audition either with your own equipment or come to one of the live audition recording locations detailed below.

LIVE AUDITION INFORMATION (Please fill out the audition intake form)
Singers in the Pacific Northwest and a handful of other states have the option to attend a special session where recording equipment and a pianist are provided at no cost. After you’ve completed the intake form we will follow up to set a audition time. We prefer you sign up ahead, but we will also take walk-ins.
2024 Live Audition Dates
- Medford OR – Tuesday, March 12 – South Medford High School Choir Room, 4:30-7:30pm (1551 Cunningham Ave)
- Seattle WA – Saturday, March 16 – Seattle University, Choir Room (Rm 114) in Fine Arts Building basement, 10am-Noon (901 12th Avenue)
- Tacoma WA – Saturday, March 16 – University of Puget Sound, Kilworth Chapel, 2-4pm
- Portland OR – Sunday, March 17 – Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, 2-4pm – 147 NW 19th Avenue (At NW Everett)
- Eugene OR – Wednesday, March 21 – UO School of Music and Dance, Room 163, 4:30-7pm
RETURNING SFYCA SINGERS
Singers who participated in the 2023 SFYCA season or earlier seasons do not need to re-audition and can email sfyca@uoregon.edu to communicate your desire to return.
